Herki Runner—Basri

Basri is a very striking vintage knotted pile runner. Unlike most Herki runners, this has been woven in soft neutral colours.

This runner was made in the mid 20th Century and is in original condition. It originates from the Herki people who are of Kurdish descent and their homelands are the mountainous regions of Eastern Turkey, Iran and Iraq.
