Overdyed Rug—Bedia

Bedia is a beautiful vintage overdyed rug. Unlike most of our overdyed rugs that are from Turkey, this one was orignally a Persian rug. Originating from the historic city of Kerman in central south-eastern Iran, Kerman rugs are renowned for their intricate designs, superior craftsmanship, and high-quality materials.

This rug has now been upcycled to create a thoroughly unique, modern and colourful floor covering. The pile on these old/new rugs has been pared back, the original dyes neutralized, then the rug over-dyed with a deeply saturated single colour.
