Cask of Thomson Whisky
The Thomson Whisky Private Cask Programme is now open. We invite you to take part in the craft with a Thomson Whisky cask of your own and a personalised bottling from New Zealandâs most awarded whisky distillery.
Spirit: Un-smoked, New Zealand grown malted barley.
Cask: 200 litre ex-bourbon barrel.
Maturation: Aged in the Thomson Whisky barrel store for 5 years.
Yield estimate: 200L barrel = approx. 270 x 700ml personalized label bottles, bottled at 46% abv.
Samples: will be provided by courier to you at 1 year old, 3 years old and 5 years old. Cost:
Payment One: Upfront $14,500 â cask fill.
Payment Two: At 5 years old $TBC â excise tax, personalized label, bottling, delivery to you. For indicative costs please.
Terms: Thomson Whisky Private Casks are for personal consumption only and cannot be sold commercially.
