Platter - Ancient Kauri

Beautifully handcrafted serving platter made from ancient kauri dated at 35,000 years old. Sourced from Kaihu, Dargaville, 300 metres above sea level. Kauri tree felled by tsunami after strike from meteor in Harvey Bay, Queensland.

Superbly finished and incredibly tactile. A heavy substantial piece and wonderful talking point.
