Solid dark orange is ideally what you want to see. Where it is lighter orange there is still 2G coverage but it isn't as strong and may affect your tracking experience.

The difference between a Microchip Pet Implant and our GPS Unit is that the microchip for pets is used merely for authentication of a lost pet, If you find a lost pet you should take it to a Vet who can read out the personal data of the owner with a specific reading device.  A Microchip has NO tracking capabilities therefore you can never see the whereabouts of your pet.
