Fresh Jalapeños

Is there anything better than a fresh, New Zealand-grown jalapeño? We'll answer that for you - no there is not.

We love using our j alapeños sliced up as a garnish, diced and added to curries and stir-fries, or the undisputed family favourite – sliced in half and filled with cream cheese (mixed with our Manuka Smoked Chipotle Powder) and panko crumbs for the best jalapeño poppers ever.

Due to the lack of summer we've had they weren't subjected to as much heat as they normally are at the beginning of the year, so they have taken a little while to get spicy, but they're a really nice medium-hot now! 

W e do have limited numbers, so they may dip in and.  Chillies freeze really well though, so you don't need to panic about getting through a kilo in a couple of weeks.

Please note that red jalapeños are currently unavailable, but they will return soon. The greens are at optimum heat and utterly beautiful this season though!
