The inspired by the Māori tradition of Papatuanuku, the Earth Mother, and the land. Our design incorporates natural elements like trees, birds, and human life, represented by a mix of black, greens, natural browns, and a striped beige coque feather. Finished with a 2in tan patiki taniko band and a touch of white, our kākahu are expertly crafted with a focus on both aesthetic beauty and heirloom-level quality. Featured in prestigious publications including Vogue, Vanity Fair, Tatler, and Glamour Magazine, our designs are created by female Māori designers and produced by a family-operated business in New Zealand, following traditional cultural customs and guidance from elders.
