Poutama Whenua Brown Design
T he pays tribute to traditional Māori culture, specifically honoring Papatūānuku, the Earth Mother, and her nurturing of nature and human life. The design features accents of black, green, and natural brown, enhanced with a beige coque feather, a white touch, and a 2in tan poutama taniko band. These expertly crafted kākahu (garments) not only possess aesthetic appeal but also adhere to the highest level of quality, as recognized by prestigious publications such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, Tatler, and Glamour Magazine. Designed by female Māori designers and produced by a whanau (family) business in New Zealand, these garments embody tikanga (cultural customs) and kaumatua (elder) guidance.
We aim to try have these designs in stock. However, please be advised that it may take 10 business days from the date of purchase before we can ship your order. If you have an urgent event, please inform us and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
