The fern frond drawing featured on this ceramic bowl is an iconic New Zealand image. The silver fern symbol comes from the New Zealand fern – Cyathea Dealbata (Ponga is the Maori name). It’s unfurling frond symbolizes strength, growth and new beginnings.

Made from white porcelain, inside semi-gloss clear glaze with decal and unglazed outside. Size 7cm diameter x 2cm high · each piece comes boxed with an image of the design on the lid. These pieces feature irregularities in both shape and form; this is part of the organic nature of the collection. Food safe, dishwasher & microwave safe. Designed in New Zealand, made in China.
