When you install the LinQ Cooler extension ontop of your cooler you lose the ability to store rod holders on the back of your cooler.

These kits mount the rod holders back further and higher up to work in conjunction with the cooler extension enabling you to store rods at the back of your cooler again, which is a great spot to reduce salt water spray on your reels.
