Kawakawa Pounamu Bracelet

The pounamu is 35mm in length and 13mm in diameter.  It is carved from pounamu collected from the South Westland Area on the West Coast of the South Island in New Zealand.

The bracelet can be easily taken on and off by putting the small pounamu toggle through the two loops of cord.  Although, the bracelet has been made so that it can be worn ALL the time and does not need to be taken off at all - even when you go in any kind of water. 

The cord is extremely strong as it is four strands of 1.4mm thick cord that have been hand platted into a special, round, 4-plait cord.  29
