This is an early Wool Vintage blanket somewhere in the realm of 100 years old. No label to give us more detailed information but a very fine example of the durability of wool

This is a very heavyweight blanket of pure wool. It has firm, smooth non-fluffy weave.

Woven in shades of taupe, cream, olive and dark brown with the reverse side in dark olive.

Usual car rug size of 138cm x 162cm.

Tassels to the top and bottom edges.

This blanket has no patch repairs. There is the odd blemish to be expected for its age.

No makers label but we can confirm this blanket is 100% wool and made in New Zealand. A Fresh Retro Love, Restore to Relove label has been added to one corner.

A wonderful blanket that would be ideal as an addition to the vintage car or war memorabilia collection.
