Cleistocactus brookeae subsp. vulpis-cauda (Foxtail Cactus)

A shrubby, columnar cactus with slender,  arching  stems that are branching from the base to 2 m long,  armed  with flexible, whitish to brownish  spine s. The spectacular, large  flower s are pinkish red. Cleistocactus brookeae subsp. vulpis-cauda is native to dry,  interandean  valleys in southern Bolivia. It is easy to grow in most warm  temperate  climates
