HAWKES BAY: Youth Holiday INTRO to MTBing: 7-10yrs, 25th Jan (9am-12noon)

The focus of this session will be to provide kids with basic skills on the bike to ensure they are safe and confident to progress to the next step and ride purpose built mountain bike trails.  This session will include basic skills, riding and games for youth aged 7-10 years with a Certified Coach.  

This is perfect for kids as an introduction to mountain biking as we can use the limestone tails to learn and apply basic bike skills and build confidence without the kids having to bike up or down any significant hills or negotiate tree roots for the first time if they have not done any/or very little single track trail riding before.

SESSION TIME: 9:00am - 12:00pm

LOCATION: Taradale Dirt Park and Pump Track, Gloucester Street, Taradale, Hawkes Bay

COST: $65 per rider

OVERVIEW:

9:00am: Meet outside the Pettigrew Arena, Taradale

9:00: Bike check and gear check

9:15am – 10:30am: Ride and skill building

10:30am – 11:00am:  Morning tea break

11:00 - 12noon:  Riding and applying skills

12:00noon - Home time (pick up from Taradale Pettigrew Arena)

 NOTE: We need a minimum of 5 participants to go ahead. If we cannot go ahead we will notify you and give a full refund. For Health and Safety reasons, we have a maximum of 12.  If the first session fills up, we will offer a second one.
