HAWKES BAY After-School: 7-9yrs (6 wks, starts Mon 20th Feb) Taradale & Whirinaki

After-school sessions for young mountain bikers – a mixture of trail riding, building confidence and skill on the bike for 7 - 9 year olds with a Certified MTB Coach at Bike Crafts purpose built MTB Teaching Facility in Taradale and at Panpac MTB Park. 

Beginner/Intermediate level - Grade 2 and 3 trails.  Perfect for kids new to mountain biking or those that need to build skill, technique and confidence.

If you dont have an appropriate bike for your child, we have new kids MTB bikes available for hire - email paula@bikecraft.co.nz

LOCATIONS: Taradale (3 sessions) & Panpac MTB Park, Whirinaki (3 sessions). 

Week 1: Taradale - limestone & river trails (rider skill level assessed). Meeting location TBA

Week 2:  Taradale - Bike Crafts MTB Teaching Facility (meeting location TBA)

Week 3 and 4:  Panpac MTB Park, Whirinaki (meeting at the carpark just past the Mill, 1205, State Highway 2, Eskdale)

Week 5:  Taradale -  Bike Crafts MTB Teaching Facility (meeting location TBA)

Week 6: Panpac MTB Park, Whirinaki (meeting at the carpark just past the Mill, 1205, State Highway 2, Eskdale)

SESSION TIME: 4:30pm - 6:15pm
FREQUENCY: Every Monday for 6 weeks commencing Monday 20th Feb; 27th Feb; 6th March; 13th Mar; 20th Mar & 27th March 2023.

COST: $220  for 6 sessions

Note: Your child will initially be assigned a group by age but if their riding confidence and ability is better suited to another group we will discuss this with you to ensure your child gets the most out of our programme. Max 12 riders.

There is a $10 additional charge to access the bike park if your child is not a current HBMTBC member.  

Note we need a minimum of 5 for this course to go ahead. If we don't get 5 participants you will be notified and a full refund given.
